Famous for their pork belly, giant Chinese lantern and set of Bromley paintings, Red Spice Road is one of Melbourne's beloved dining venues.
They got in touch with me to bring a splash of colour to their neutral function room by bringing some of Melbourne’s street art inside. The 10-meter long wall was inspired by the strength of Asian women and acted as a counter to the stereotypical view that all Asian women are meek and submissive. The colour scheme was drawn from commonly-used Asian hues
and the Red Spice Road brand palette.
