The annual Mood Indigo festival sees over 1700 colleges throughout India come together at the IIT Bombay campus to celebrate the end of the school year.

With an average attendance of over 130,000 people, the event boasts the reputation of being the largest cultural college festival in all of Asia. My partner, Muriel-Ann Ricafrente and I were asked to be part of the international line up of artists to create large public murals for the event.

We were given the sound-box above the amphitheater and I painted my friend Anu Kumar who’s work documenting the beauty of Indian communities inspired the mural.
